Burntisland Shipyard A.F.C. is committed to the concept of equality of opportunity and advocates full rights, a need for fairness, participation and involvement for all members of the community. It aims to foster a culture that is free from discrimination and oppressive behaviour.

The club’s facilities are accordingly open and accessible to all sections of the community which in turn provides us with the full range of talents and abilities available.

We seek to involve all interested parties within the community in the work of the club and will ensure that all receive equality of opportunity, regardless of age, colour, race, social/economic status, disability, ethnic origin, gender, marital status, nationality, religion, political persuasion, sexuality or any other society grouping.

All members of the club are expected to promote the club’s policy, apply fairness and dignity in all the club activity and highlight any discriminatory practices that emerge regardless of whether or not they are directly involved. All members are encouraged to remember that:-
